NoPe

On the outside, it might look like I’m living the absolute dream, but let’s keep it completely real. I know why this weight isn’t falling off like I want it to. Sometimes I’m so exhausted I just stand at the door and let TaterTot walk herself! I would love to have multiple days where I don’t have to be anywhere or do anything. Our bodies do not operate like AI, so we have to give ourselves grace. That’s why I’ve learned to say a firm "NO" efficiently. If it bothers my spirit, absolutely not. If it’s outside, definitely not. If someone else can do it, try them first! That isn't being selfish, y'all it’s called self protection. People will look at your life and ask for the most outrageous things. I've been asked to Pay for a semester of college? Cash App $2,000? Fly to Germany on my own dime to bring someone back? Like, what?! Honey, there is no Gucci, Louie or Dior hanging in my closet. Matter of fact, there’s a payment arrangement on my light bill right now! I’ve loaned money out before and never saw a dime of it back but that's ok. My "NO" shouldn't stop you from moving forward. Even though I don’t have much, I am appreciative and proud of what I do have. I’m going to help when I can, but it will never be forced at the expense of my own peace. Protect your space, set your boundaries, and honor yourself. Now go pray through it...don't just go through it.
