Pushing It

Y'all, Sometimes life throws you a complete curveball right when you think you’re finished for the day. As I was walking out my office, I saw a lady broken down in the parking lot. I just had to stop and check on her. I went over to see if I could help and she said she needed jumper cables. Well boom wham bam I got that. We got it jumped but then she told me if she switched gears the van would cut off again. Which it did. She had to go straight. So, I pushed that van back into the street so she’d have a straight path. Honey I don't know nothing about cars, that's what she said ok. Oh y'all, this was a struggle. Her van cut off two more times while we were right in the middle of the street. She finally took off. Got to the light, and boom it shut off again. I was right behind her in traffic. I didn’t panic. I put on my emergency signals stepped out and told the cars behind me to go around us. While I was managing that chaos community showed up. One man pulled over and volunteered to help push it out of the way. Then a police officer coming the opposite way stops and immediately takes charge. He told me to get out of the way. And honestly y'all that was the moment of relief. You have to keep pushing, manage traffic, accept help from a stranger, and then... surrender the rest to the one who can handle it. Don't let the repeated struggles defeat you, honey. Now go pray through it...don't just go through it!
