Why Prayer

Because prayer is our anchor when the waters of life get rough.
Prayer does not always mean the storm instantly stops. Sometimes, we need him to calm the storm, but other times, He calms you while the storm rages around you. Prayer shifts our focus from how big our problems are to how big he is. It gives us a safe place to lay down the burdens we were never meant to carry alone.
When we pray, we are doing something deeply powerful. We are admitting that we don't have all the answers, and we are surrendering control to the 1 who does. There is a profound peace that washes over you when you finally stop fighting the current and say, " I can't do this on my own. I need strength." Through this movement, we will use prayer not just as a lifeline, but as a weapon against despair, anxiety, and hopelessness. We will pray for our families, we will pray for our health, we will pray for our youth; specifically the young leaders we uplift through Kidd Supporters; also our communities.
